Holiday

Hi friends! Well I just heard some disappointing news! It was when I went up to my big shared bed when Lexie told me...they are going on holiday! How dare they? I don't want to come but I want them to stay! Now that they are packing and stuff I can sense something is going on but am keeping cool as a cucumber on the bed, all curled up! The very old female will be coming round for a stroke no doubt and the people next door will be feeding me hopefully I can put on my sweet look and get more food! I wish I could stay at their house which I really like to naughtily explore in! But I will be able to go to my big shared bedroom, the humans bathroom and kitchen. And the bad news is I wont have access to blog!!! :(   So bye for now.....

My days: Wet Wendesday!

I haven't been writing as much so I apologise in advance! It is also a shame, because of my bad memory, I might miss bits out!
Last night: All evening I had been in and out of the living room trying to tell my owners that I wanted to go home...they probably were too engrossed in their TV program to notice or thought I wanted food. I did get let out and it was surprisingly warm for the time it was. I went for what I thought was going to be a quick drink and roam but I got distracted and missed my older owner calling for me later on. So I spent the whole night outside, which I do often. But it rained. Hard. So when my younger owner came, and thank paws she did! I was all spiky, wet and very hungry indeed!

I waited so patiently I was allowed to lick out the milk from the cereal bowl!
Today: Well as a bit of a pay back  after I gobbled down my food I lay down on the kitchen floor. Then shook my body. Then pasted around sometime. So the floor was covered in water...a slipping hazard maybe, a nuisance but think of the inconvenience of last night! MEW but because I waited so patiently I was allowed to lick out the milk from the cereal bowl! But I was quite glad when my younger owner gave my half a pouch of Whiskers salmon wet food. I usually get dried diet food (more on that later) so it was quite a treat for me and much appreciated as well... I am still hungry but I cant stop licking my lips so I don't mind!
Yesterday: Not much has happened as you have gathered. But I did have another episode of being locked out in the rain. The younger owner was at school and the older one was painted a cupboard for some bazar reason ion the dining room. Now she hates me going through the window and using it as a cat flap. So when I mewed outside it she insisted I walked to the back door to be let in....in the rain! -Cheek! So I stayed put and let her go half way through the yard to call me as I said I was staying where I was so then she went and said I had no mind/brain and my head was stuffed with fur! How dare she I can do lots of tricks and write a blog! So in the end, like everyone who refuses to let me in the 'cat flap' she couldn't resist my poor yet cute pleading face and let me in where I displayed mucky paw prints on the 'eggshell' coloured window sill, which isn't cleaned up yet!

P.S. I'm really sorry that the picture is bad quality!!!  ....MEWOOOOOO!

My night and day: Meeting a new cat and Gardening

I'll start with last night... my family temporally abandoned me for a good few hours, when they came back I certainly wasn't happy and made sure they knew it! All night in the kitchen I could hear the neighbouring  tabby cat meowing in the drizzle, couldn't he just shut up? I hate him, maybe not hate exactly but I don't like him, he has been an enemy since I can remember; us two, always fighting for territory but because I had some 'lazy years' abroad in a sunny country he has aged much quicker than I but is probably older then me as well.

When the younger owner came down to unlock me this mourning I had a long cuddle/stroke with her because I wasn't hungry as I had been faced with a big supper the night before which I had not finished. I went in and outdoors and then in and out, in and out until she then took me upstairs to a warm bed where I purred even more whilst she, disloyally went and petted my enemy. The female owners went out for some time and I slept on the sofa and bed for a bit until the younger owner came and picked me up and took me to the front garden where a black cat with white paws and chest was sitting upon the window pane. When it saw me it jumped down and started sniffing around in a flower bed. I wasn't too bothered and didn't have to fluff my tail up because I knew I was bigger and better then her. She ran away when she saw me. My owner went and stroked it by the road and I came and joined them where I too was stroked. The other cat and I sniffed each other and touched noses. After that I stayed cool as a cucumber but the other cat was friendly but very skittish. She then pranced up the road and I sniffed in another cat's territory (the one I was speaking about before) before going back to my own garden.

To my surprise my younger owner was crouched down with a familiar poster roll looking thing and a trowel. It turns out that they were going to plant the tree in the woods but decided to temporally plant it in the front garden for the time being. I stayed around to make sure everything happened as it should do as it is my tree after all! It was then successfully planted and with all that gardening I decided to do some of my own so I went ahead tearing off leaves from the privet ball and was joined by that black and white cat, who seems to like my garden! But then she went. Right now she is sat on top of a big car cleaning her self ( I tend to go under cars!)

After a while of being outside it randomly started to drizzle so I went to my personal cat flap (aka: the dining room window) and starting meowing because I don't like getting wet. The younger owner was sat at the computer probably correcting my blog as I am not very good at English...when I mewed, she then stupidly went to the front door then the back door and then realized where I was! She let me in with a struggle and in a came leaving mucky paw prints all over the white window pane which she quickly wiped off. I also got my body stuck in the blind cord which I didn't realize about! When I came down I settled on her new coat, the one with the dark velvety lining and started pawing it strangely my owner picked me and the coat up?!

I won a tree!

Me as a younger cat before I put on weight!
I won a tree today, well I found out an while back but today it arrived. My owners had entered a competition to win a tree, it was with this yogurt company. Anyway they entered the special code in and filled in the details in my name. And it turned out that we had won a tree, a wild cherry tree in fact! They came early this mourning and awoke the family, I however was still locked in the kitchen mewing very loudly. The younger owner came down and fed me, I had a few bites of my breakfast before I was picked up and taken up stairs to the adult's bedroom. The room was very nice and warm because it had had two warm bodies sleeping in it. I purred very loudly once I had realized my tree had arrived. We have no room in our territory so we are going to take the tree (which is in a poster like roll) to the very old owner who sometimes looks after me and plant it in her woods. I will never see it again but I don't really care to be honest. Now all the younger family members have their own tree! The young girl has a silvery green tree in the front garden witch is good to hide in sometimes and the big boy has a very tall, weird looking thing in a pot in the back garden. I'm going to sleep and intend to for a while.

Pictures: Firebathing

I love the fire! Stretching in front of it is a lovely sensation, feeling the warmth on your belly. It's almost as good as the sun, if not better because you have the soft carpet as well!

My day: The first fire

More pictures to come...
Hello fans! Today nothing much happened, I won't go into much detail like I did last time. Yesterday I did not have time to write a entry but I did come in very wet! I spent the night outside and it rained. Hard. So when I came to greet me owners I had punk rocker styled fur and was freezing...oh well! Today how ever they kindly lit me a roaring fire, which in the pictures you can see that I am clearly making the most of it.

My Day: Mostly sleeping

Hello, here is what I've done today: I woke up this morning; quite late actually...about 7: 45. I must of been in a good dream or something...not that I can remember... I the night I'd tipped over my pot of food and spilt the water as it wasn't perfectly at the brim level.  At night I am either roaming outside or locked inside the kitchen, where I have all my essentials: litter tray, food, water, a window and basket. Anyway each morning I mow at the door until I awake my owners and then fed. Like a routine I did just that today and was fed, with a sigh from my owner because I had spilt my food and drink but what do I care? After I had eaten my food I sat by the back door patiently if I don't say so myself so I could get let out, in which I did so and went to my usual spot where it collects nice fresh rain water so I could have a refreshing drink. When I realized it was slightly drizzling the door magically opened and I went back into the warm house. I went upstairs to which my younger owner usually awaits for me I was very agitated when after several very loud meows didn't result into a stroke, I realized she must be down stairs so I tumbled back down and got a stroke and a cuddle before she disappeared through front door. I went back upstairs which may I say was very tiring for my poor little legs! And made my way to my bedroom which I annoyingly have to share with the younger owner! Anyway the good thing about sharing is when I come to sleep in the bed it's sometimes already warmed up, I spent a long time up there sleeping which is no surprise before I ventured to the living room which was down stairs obviously I had some food before I did so! There I lay fast asleep like a little snail on the sofa. Later on I was still asleep on the sofa. The older owner came and sat next to me so I politely greeted her with a harmonic meow. I wasn't going to let her ruin my beauty sleep so I went back to sleep this time snoring very loudly. Now the younger owner is back and I still haven't woken up. She gave me a stoke, it took a while for me to wake up, and when I did so I gave an embarrassing grunt but I corrected it soon after with my greeting meow. I stretched my head a little as it had been twisted snug into my body (you may not understand...) and purred, then went back to sleep. No doubt I will be begging for food very soon but for now until something interesting happens, Good Day!

Introduction: This is Me

This is me...more pictures to come!
Hello! My name is Bubba. I am an old gentleman cat around 13 years of age but I cannot be sure. I am starting a blog because I have had a lot of past experiences in my life time however my regular days are usually uneventful but aren't all cat's? As well as posting daily blogs I will also be posting other stuff about cats. This is only really an introduction and I can say you don't know me yet!

DYK? I am all white, I have no markings what so ever...just white, you can easily spot me...unless it's snowy!
